One of the promotions Lucid Motors was running was three years of free unlimited charging at Electrify America. That promotion has ended as of June 30, 2022, as we previously reported.

Today, Lucid Motors has extended the promotion but limited them to two and one years of charging for free based on new rules. If you reserve a Lucid Air Grand Touring and/or a Grand Touring Performance between 7/1/22 and  12/31/22, the EA promotional period is two years. If you reserve a Lucid Air Touring and/or Pure between 7/1/22 and 12/31/22, the EA promotional period is one year.

Here is a summary of the revised promotional rules:

• Reservations Placed Before June 30, 2022, Get Three Years Of Free Charging At Electrify America
• Reservations Placed For Grand Touring Trims Between July 1 and December 31, 2022, Get Two Years Of Free Charging At Electrify America
• Reservations Placed For Touring or Pure Trims Between July 1 and December 31, 2022, Get One Year Of Free Charging At Electrify America

The Lucid Motors website now shows this disclaimer in the configuration tool:

Offer valid on reservations placed by 12/31/22 for delivery in the US. For reservations made before 6/30/22, promotional period is three years. For Grand Touring and Grand Touring Performance reservations made between 7/1/22 and  12/31/22, promotional period is two years. For Touring and Pure reservations made between 7/1/22 and 12/31/22, promotional period is one year. Complimentary charging sessions are for reasonable personal use. 10-minute grace period provided when charging is complete before idle fees apply. Charging plan enrollment required. Offer is non-transferrable.

Again, it is super easy to charge your Lucid Air for free at Electrify America and they have some super fast chargers. For those who are receiving their Lucid Air and do get the free charging, make sure to check your start date for the charging.
