What’s New in Version 1.2.9

Lucid Motors wrote, “with this update, we’re providing a better experience in your Lucid Air by making enhancements and improvements to two DreamDrive features, Lucid Stability Control, and your vehicle’s Stop Mode, as well as other minor updates and fixes.”

  • Automatic Emergency Braking can detect objects in your party and engage the brake to help your vehicle avoid or reduce the severity of a collision. We’ve updated the Automatic Emergency Braking so that when Lucid Stability Control is set to Partial or Off, Automatic Emergency Braking will be disabled. Forward Collision Warning will remain enabled. When you turn your vehicle off and on again, Lucid Stability Control will default back to Full, and Automatic Emergency Braking will be re-enabled.
  • Rear Pedestrian Collision Protection: We’ve enabled Rear Pedestrian Collision Protection, a new advanced driver assistance system feature that can detect pedestrians around your vehicle while reversing, it will warn you if there is a risk of collision and apply the brakes to avoid impact. Rear Pedestrian Collision Protection may not detect all pedestrians in time to avoid collision. Always check your surroundings.
  • Lucid Stability Control is a suite of features that improves vehicle stability and includes your vehicle’s anti-lock braking system (ABS), traction control, and stability control. We’ve made performance updates to these features that enhance your vehicle’s dynamic attributes.
  • Stop Mode: Your vehicle has two Stop Modes you can select in your Vehicle Settings: Hold and Roll. We’ve made improvements resulting in a smoother hold whenever this option is selected.
