There are about 16 states in the United States that let EV owners to register their vehicles with their states. Some offer incentives to do so by giving tax credits or other incentives, while others charge an additional fee to own an EV in their state.
I have been scouring the databases to try to find information on how many Lucid Air electric vehicles have been registered in the United States. Sadly, some of these databases have not been updated in months, others do not list Lucid as a car type yet and most states do not even track this data. All that being said, I assume most EV car owners do not even register their cars with the states.
So what do we know so far in May 2022 by state:
New York Lucid Air Registration Data
New York’s data has been updated as of May 1, 2022 and it shows there are currently 13 Lucid Air EVs registered in the state as of May 1st. Again, I totally expect there to be way more than just 13 people driving Lucid Air EVs in New York but this is what we have with the data we see.
2 (maybe 3, data is a bit weird) Lucid Air EVs were registered in 2021, here are those registration dates:
